I’m David, based in Shenzhen, this is a hobby project of mine, I have always wanted to do this. Melding my love for investigating new places for eats/drinks and people, with my love of taking of photos (I’m better at eating and drinking).

I love the ebb and flow of small establishments, and the people behind them. To me the taste experience is almost secondary to that. I have little interest in very commercial places and look for the smaller non-chain places.

I hope Thirsty Guide, will become that for you. It’s never going to be a big review site, it’s just about fun, so if I’m slow with reviews I hope you understand. In case you’re wondering, no one pays for me for this. These are just my own thoughts and experiences so your mileage will vary depending on what rings your own bell.
